“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me…” (25: 35, 36a) NIV

With a billion people, 1650 languages, and worshiping millions of gods, India has less than a 2.5% Christian population which is mostly found in only two states. Although India was pioneered by such missionary greats as William Carey and Mother Teresa, India is still a sleeping giant. Up against widespread illiteracy and poverty, we at Bethel Children's Home/Reasons For Faith desire to meet not only the physical but the spiritual needs of some of the most afflicted in the world.

Bethel Children's Home supplies each child's housing, clothing, food, medical, education, and spiritual development. Donations designated for India Compassionate Ministries will be used for that purpose. View photos of some of the children we support.

Reasons For Faith regularly feeds and clothes the poor of Tacoma, Washington. We firmly trust that a sandwich and jacket freely offered opens doors to God’s free offer—the salvation message through tract, Bible, or spoken word.
